Sage Creek EquiReach Therapy Program

The Sage Creek EquiReach Therapy Program offers structured, equine-assisted recreational therapy for children who benefit from movement-based, sensory-rich experiences in a calm and supportive environment.

Sessions are led by trained equine professionals and thoughtfully designed to support each child’s individual needs through consistent routines, gentle physical engagement, and intentional interaction with therapeutic horses. Our program emphasizes safety, predictability, and emotional regulation while allowing children to build confidence and skills at their own pace.

Equine-assisted recreational therapy at Sage Creek Stables focuses on:

  • Improving sensory integration through rhythmic movement and tactile interaction

  • Supporting motor coordination, balance, and body awareness

  • Encouraging emotional regulation, confidence, and communication

  • Providing a structured, calming routine in a natural outdoor setting

Sessions are typically 45–60 minutes in length and are recommended 2–3 times per week, depending on the child’s needs, attention span, and therapeutic goals. Final session frequency is determined collaboratively with families and may be guided by professional recommendations.

The EquiReach Therapy Program is designed to complement a child’s broader support plan while offering a positive, engaging experience that promotes growth, connection, and confidence through partnership with our carefully selected therapy horses.
